Rock on the Green 2021

30th Anniversary

Cancelled

On the advice of HM Government

It's up to all of us to slow the spread of COVID-19. Everyone, including young and healthy people, should avoid large gatherings during this time.

As a responsible group, Rock on the Green is conforming with the governments guidelines. It is with regret that the committee has decided to postpone this years event

I have released this site a little earlier than I had intended due to the Corona virus outbreak, partly to inform you of the cancellation of this year's event and partly to see if anybody has pictures/ information of any of the events from the last 30 years. I am trying to put together a history of Rock on the Green year by year. If you have anything printable I could use please let me know. I will credit anything supplied to the person(s) concerned. In the meantime the site is a " work in progress "

Rock on the Green was born in 1990 as an idea to raise some funds for local causes that needed help and in the 30 years we have been around we have raised well over £100,000 for local good causes and charity projects.

We aim to hold this mini rock festival every year on St Andrews Green, come rain or sun, hot or cold and we try to be here every year with the one desire, to provide you with the best in music and fun and raise those all important pennies.

2020 recipient (s)  will be decided just after the event. The presentation will be held in the 68 Club, 68 Cheddon Road, Taunton. Date to be confirmed
